Arborguard in the Community
Arborguard is the leader in tree care for
Atlanta and the Southeast. Leadership requires involvement.
For us, that means being available as a community resource.
We're proud of our volunteer efforts to promote the benefits
of trees and their proper care. We teach people about how
trees live and grow. As concerned citizens, we help with tree
ordinances and community tree watch programs. As stewards
of the environment, we speak for the trees because they cannot.

What a Difference Great Pruning Makes
Kevin Carnes, one of Arborguard's ISA Certified Arborists took care of a mature Deodar Cedar Tree on the property
of the City of Toccoa's Historic Courthouse. Dead, diseased or dying limbs were removed, which opened
up the canopy to allow for better air circulation. This also reduced the danger of falling limbs and improved
the aesthetic appeal of this beautiful tree.

Arborguard readies The Atlanta Symphony's Decorator's Showhouse 2007

Our top arborists were on hand to prune the trees for The Atlanta Symphony's 2007 Decorator's Showhouse. Jonathan McNeil, Jim Bruner and Nathan Smart spent a day pruning the trees.
Andersonville National Historic Site
Jim Bruner, Jonathan McNeil, Dustin Dalton and Nathan Smart performed volunteer tree care work for the trees at the Andersonville National Historic Site.
Andersonville National Historic Site commemorates the experiences of all American Prisoners of War. The site of historic Camp Sumter (Andersonville Prison)
is one of the main features of the park. Camp Sumter was built in early 1864 and was one of the largest of the many Confederate military prisons established
during the Civil War. The park also features the National Prisoners of War Museum and Andersonville National Cemetery.
Urban Tree Care at the Atlanta Botanical
Gardens
Arborguard's President Spence Rosenfeld, and one of our ISA Certified Arborists - Paula Linck, taught a fun and informative class on Urban Tree Care at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. Both discussed the most up-to-date information on caring for your trees.
