Jobs Available at Arborguard:
The Tools for the Job Continued training is one of the most important tools an employee can have. At Arborguard, we realize arborists need more than just chainsaws and pruners to do their jobs right. That's why we dedicate time for continued training. On average, our crew members spend 10% of their year, or over 200 hours, in training. By learning about first aid, CPR, pruning techniques, PHC methods, proper equipment use, tree ID, and other industry topics, our crews are able to serve clients better, with an eye toward safety. We offer opportunities for advancement through the TCIA Tree Care Specialist and ISA Certification programs, and a 5 level promotion ladder through our Employee Development Program. Additionally, a quarterly training seminar is offered for all employees. One Friday per quarter, all employees meet for lunch and break into groups for training. Once a year, our quarterly seminar is dedicated to a jamboree to foster friendly competition.
