Meet Scout

In selecting a mascot for ArborScout®, it seemed fitting to select a dog, for they, like trees, add immeasurable value to our lives. And they, like trees, are unable to speak. They depend on us to carefully observe their needs and provide solutions to their problems.

Living among trees and understanding our relationship with them requires some critical information. ArborScout® can provide this information by tracking tree health, safety, and management, as well as economic value and environmental benefit.

Truth be told, Scout’s real name is Teddy, and he is the sweetest, happiest dog I’ve ever met. He’s also known as Teddy Bear, because he is a big, 125 pound ball of fur. I’m proud to have him as our mascot, for he has helped me understand life, just as ArborScout® helps us understand trees.
